This question contains spoilers…
(view spoiler)[Hi. loved WDYLSYF! On the spoiler page someone asked an excellent question about Ronan's demise. In reality A we know Ronan dies when he tries to dump Max in the Cretaceous period. In reality B we know Leon rescued Max from the Cretaceous, did Ronan die in Cretaceous in reality B? If so then the whole TP thing from HFTB seems unnecessary. Confused here.ty (hide spoiler)]

Hi. Good question.
As Mrs Partridge said, 'Because a thing happened there - do not assume it will happen here.' (Paraphrasing because my desk is covered in paper and I can't find the original quote.) Some events have followed a similar but not identical track. I hope you can understand that I don't want to say too much, but if it's helpful, I can tell you that the circle is about to close.
All the best, Jodi.

Hi Jodi. Have recently listened to all your current Chronicles books and I was curious as to whether you are avoiding any specific time periods, such as religious times (Christ, etc) or whether you have these pegged for the future? Are there any historical periods that you will categorically not let Max venture into? Thanks in advance

Hi Jodi. I'm currently re-reading the whole set of St Mary's books whilst awaiting your new Time Police book, and I wondered whether you will one day continue the Markham story; the letter received, and referred to briefly in 'Hope for the best', is Hunter confirmed as pregnant and if so has she given birth yet..... not to mention their questionable marital status? Many thanks, Jill

Thank you for your amazing characters and stories! I haven't been as taken with a story for ages as I was with Just One Damned Thing .. <3 I started to question my own assumption that this was set in the near future. You mention riots and the "Battersea Barricades" and the US "closing their borders" made me think this was set in a future post-system-collapse world with a deliberately vague date? Am I wrong?
