How did you settle on lepidoptery as Veronica's passion?

Deanna Raybourn I have always been fascinated with Victorian explorers, and one of the most intriguing is Margaret Fountaine--a lepidopterist who made a career for herself by traveling the globe, netting butterflies for other collectors. She was a deeply interesting woman, so much so that I promised myself if I ever created a new Victorian series after the Lady Julia Grey books, I would create a butterfly hunter in homage to her. Great question!

Do you plan to have any more appearances of Lord Rosemorran's children, namely Lady Rose, in future installments of the Veronica Speedwell mysteries? I have to admit, I really loved the scene with Rose and Veronica in book one!
