One of my notions for these e-novellas was that they should be ala carte, open-ended, not bolted to any particular series template. So I don't exactly have plans, more like possibilities. Penric has that invaluable character trait of being good for several different kinds of tales, so I shouldn't have to repeat myself any time soon. (Although one of the interesting things an writer can do in a series is revisit themes for a different slice on them, which I don't rule out.)

Any regrets/second thoughts a la Rowling saying Harry should have ended up with Hermione? For example I've never been able to reconcile Aral having Carl executed. Any terran place I can use as a mental picture of Cordelia's bay? Thought about it driving some of the California coast and wondered.

I just finished/loved the Penric's Demon series. The Cantons are cozy as heck and the Empire has that Byzantine motif that's right down my alley. Anyway, I wanted to know what role jesters play, if any, in the world of Chalion. I assume they'd fall within the Bastard's province, but just how religious would they be? The idea of a jester-divine brings a smile to my face haha
