What was the first book you read that made you want to write?

Alexis-Morgan Roark Fantastic question! I want to say "Harold and the Purple Crayon." I have always been a storyteller-mostly verbal-but Harold was a watershed book for little me. I remember writing stories wanting to duplicate the feeling I got with Harold. Maybe I will get there one day. I would LOVE to be the reason someone chooses to write even if it's because they think they can "do it better." 😘 Have at it. We need more voices!
