So surprising to see you as a character in Recursion by Blake Crouch...an architect no less! Did you know in advance that you would have a cameo in the book? How do you feel about it?

I did not know it was going to happen - but I found it hilarious - and an honor to be killed in Blake's book. Blake has become a friend and we both have short stories in FORWARD, a new sci-fi anthology being published by Amazon as an ebook this September.

Mr. Towles, I just finished reading "A Gentleman In Moscow" and my only request is Please, write more! When reading this book, I wondered how you were able to show the exact atmosphere of the times? You never lived in the Soviet Union but you captured the history and culture to the point. Thank you!

Your writing and humorous comparisons are brilliant, and I appreciate your many references to art and literature. Though I haven't read all the books and am not familiar with some of the art pieces, I was compelled to look them up and learn a bit. Using a tablet made it easy to switch between the internet and ROC. Is there a new AT book is in the works? Also loved A Gentleman in Moscow.
