Hello! I apologize if this question has already been asked. I adore the way in which you bring to life not only your characters but the geography around them. In Tales of a new world what area have you based you landscape on?

P.C. Cast Hi Corey, I'm so glad you enjoy my books! The first two Tales of a New World books are sent in and around Portland, OR. Farm Island is Sauvie Island just outside Portland. Then they travel east in Wind Rider, following the Columbia River until my fictional inland sea, Lost Lake, go through the Rocky Mountains, and end up on the Plains of the Wind Riders, which is really what used to be a tall grass prairie that covered a huge section of the US between the Rockys and the Mississippi, down to the Gulf and up to the Great Lakes.
