Andrew Rowe:
Could a low level enchanter enchant high level runes if they had a large number of low level crystals? For example could Corin use 22 crystals with 100 mana to make a Citrine level enchantment?

(view spoiler)[Yes and no, mostly on the no side.
Runes need to be enchanted in a specific time frame to remain stable. A low-level enchanter with a bunch of crystals could make a bigger than normal rune, but not by much, because they can't move mana into a high-level rune quickly enough to keep it stable.
Corin has an advantage over other low-level enchanters in this regard after the second book. (Spoilers ahead.)
Corin's second attunement increases his speed for transferring mana, which would allow Corin to charge larger runes more quickly than an average enchanter of his level. This still wouldn't allow him to enchant something colossally difficult, but he could enchant something from multiple crystals more easily than an ordinary enchanter could. (hide spoiler)]

Hey there, I really enjoy your work. I just finished Defying Destiny and started AA again, because I really can't wait for the next one. Its been mentioned a few times, that Corin can't really keep enchanting a thousand items for every situations, because of interference between them. Would it be possible, to use that interference between items, to activate some synergistic effect?

First I wanna say huge fan of your book Sufficiently Advanced Magic and I could not put it down. Found it while strolling through amazon books and added it to my long reading queue and just finished it today and it was a crazy rollercoaster ride and can not wait to get to book 2. Vanniv was the surprise hit of the book and hope he's in part two. Question: Will you explore Caden's sexuality in a future novel?
