There's definitely some room for synergistic effects between items, but making them work properly is a difficult process. I'll get into this a bit more in future books. You can see some of the foundations for it in Diamantine, though, with one particular set of items toward the end of the book.

I've been listening to the audio book versions of the Arcane Ascension books, loved the first book and now listening my way through the second and loving it just as much! So I was wondering with the planned release of the third book, will the audio book be released at the same time?
