How do you find inspiration to make your books?

Melanie Conklin Hi, Kate! I find a lot of inspiration in reading. I love books and how stories make me feel. Often those feelings lead to ideas for new stories. I also read new stories from real life, and save the ones I find interesting. Most importantly, I keep a writer's notebook, where I write about my feelings and the stories that matter to me.
