Did any of the Vorkosigans participate in Gregor's second ceremony on Komarr?
Lois McMaster Bujold
A good question to which I've never worked out the answer, since, among other things, I've never made up what marriage ceremonies on Komarr consist of. (Though they would include a lot of behind-the-scenes contractual maneuvering, if the principals were from high oligarchical families.) It is entirely possible that Aral, at least, stayed home; Cordelia and/or Miles might have attended; the Komarran Viceroy Imperial Councillor might have stood in for Barrayar.

Lois McMaster Bujold:
George Eliot wrote always with a sense of failure and doom. Nabokov was fully aware of his greatness. I think you must be somewhat aware. Not wishing for a response here, I’ll just say that talent at a certain level carries the obligation to write, especially if it’s not fading. We’re all at our full powers only so long, but some writers soar well into “retirement” years. I’m afraid you’re still on obligation status.?

Good morning! Just wanted to say hello, and mention something a friend and I were discussing. As we've grown older, fiction has begin to become less interesting, and the real world has become more and more fantastical. I'm unsure if this is an effect of age, or if reality has simply reached a bizarre enough state of technological advancement that we from the previous state are having trouble processing it. Thoughts?

Totally enjoyed Gentleman Jole & the Red Queen. (I predict an art exhibit "Aral at 100" on the AO3 fan fiction site). Are you going to make use of the "ghost fleet" in future? Seems you have a Betan Captain, two Admirals, potentially, 17 family cadets and the universe to explore. :).
