Hi, Becky. I'm on the last book of your Bradford sisters' series, and I wanted to ask what prompted you to set the series in Washington? Are your other books set there as well?

Sheba, I was prompted to set the Bradford series in Washington because I find that corner of the country to be gorgeous. Growing up in California, just a few states south, I'd seen photos of WA and wanted to visit. I can even remember entertaining fairytale teenage dreams of honeymooning there one day.
Four years ago (after 20+ years of marriage) my husband and I finally made it to Washington together. We hiked, relaxed, explored. I'd felt a tug to set my series there even before I went, but while I was there, my decision was confirmed. That area is so inspiring!
None of my other books are set in WA. The Porter series is set in Texas, My Stubborn Heart is set in Pennsylvania, and my upcoming series will be set in the north Georgia mountains. :)

Hi, Becky! Love in the Details was my first book I've read of yours. *sorry... You're on my list but I'm in the midst of so many series and trilogies. However, that is not why I'm writing. My question is, is A Love Like Ours a stand alone or does it read best when in the series? : ) Oh, and I really like Love in the Details! : )

When reading Nora's list of heroes - Richard Armitage, Colin Firth, Michael Fassbender, Timothy Dalton, and Dan Stevens - I thought, "This is me!" So, Northamptonshire isn't an actual series? I can't find it anywhere...sigh. (You noticed I left off William Hurt from Rochester list... no comparison to Dalton or Fassbender, in my book :-) Did you consider Ciaran Hinds, or better yet, Toby Stephens for that list, also?)
