How wonderful that you loved 'The Olive Tree' and that you've been to Cyprus too! Yes, I visit all the places I write about in order to get a real feel for the atmosphere, the historical research and the people who live there. When I wrote the first draft of 'The Olive Tree', it was actually after a family holiday in Cyprus -- it's a place I adore!
