I'm actually nearing the end of a vampire-y book right now. My plans are to finish it by the end of summer so I can independently publish it before the end of 2019.
The story takes place after the 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, France, and has my vampires taking a stand against radical terrorism. I loved Paris when I visited and was saddened by the events, so I started wondering what immortals who have seen the world grow and change would do if they were motived. The story has evolved into so much more than I thought it would, dealing with topics such as love, family, grief, and religion.
