I think I've read 16 books in your series, and I can't stop being curious about how you've come to be so well-versed on all things U.S. Military; specifically the varying philosophies between the different branches. How did you do your research? Does your family have a military background? Also, how do you choose between 1st and 3rd person when you begin a project?

Lee Child My father spent time in the army and I remember clearly all the stories he told. Now I get correspondence from current serving soldiers. The dynamic between enlisted men and the higher-ups hasn’t changed in all these years - probably not since the Romans. Or even earlier.
