The Bob books are true nerdvana. I feel like most of the pop culture references fit best into a certain age group. I would guess 40 - 60 ish. The fact that you have some experience with COBAL suggests that you fit into that group. The open nature of the Bobaverse seems to lend itself well to a Netflix series. My question is if something like that happen (oh please) how directly involved would you be in the writing?

It would depend on the contract. Contractual terms vary all over the place, depending on what the parties are looking for. I'd like to be closely involved, but I have a history of folding when money is thrown at me.
