More Answered Questions

A Goodreads user
A Goodreads user asked M.C. Beaton:

Agatha has her cats and Hamish his dog and his wild cat, do you have any pets?

Margo Brooks
Margo Brooks asked M.C. Beaton:

Your characters are so flawed that they are easy to laugh at and could be easy to hate, but they are also so real that you can't help but love them. How do you maintain that line between farce and sympathy, hate and love? I think it is one of the best aspects of your writing.

Shabnam
Shabnam asked M.C. Beaton:

Dearest Mrs. Chesney, I love you!!! Sorry, had to get that out. I'm so jealous you live in the Cotswold and get to write mysteries. Sigh! I love Agatha and Hamish. Both have qualities that rub people the wrong way till one gets to know them. Where did these delightful characters come from, what inspired you to create them? Will they meet? Thank you and love you!!!!!!
