Peter Kip I think you mean the "default mode network." If you have access to SciFinder, I think they can give you all articles that reference the original one [Randy L. Buckner, Jessica R. Andrews-Hanna, and Daniel L. Schacter, “The Brain’s Default Network,” Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences 1124, no. 1 (2008) ]. Google Scholar should be able to keep you up to date on articles that reference any of the authors, for example Randy L. Buckner.
