Lynne answers “OK. Did this book end with Pip remarrying...”

OK. Did this book end with Pip remarrying Max? (Not including Leila's last chapter). Because in Pip's next-to-last section, Max was moving back to the US to be with Blair. "And, as the service begins, the room disappears and it's just me, Max and Grace, and the registrar, making us all a family again." I am totally confused and feel stupid. Any thoughts?

I felt so discombobulated when I finished reading this book...like I was left hanging on a cliff…nothing was resolved or clear?! I typically love her books, but this one not so much. Any help with my confusion would be appreciated!(less)
