I can't wait for The Sun Sister. I was born and raised in Africa, although way south. We have an unofficial book sharing club at the school where I teach in Hong Kong and are all pretty much addicted to this series. I LOVE history and your writing sends me all over the internet researching the different historical facts you weave into your writing. How do you manage to create such an escape for us reader? Just genius!

Hi Mandy,
Oh, I'm so pleased that you love the historical aspect of all the stories -- I spend such a long time immersing myself in research, and I can't wait to share with you all the things I learnt during my research trip to Africa. Once the book is released, I will be posting some more background information on my website (www.lucindariley.co.uk) where you can find out about the true stories behind 'The Sun Sister'. But above all, when I write my books, I always keep in mind that I'm not writing a history book -- they are fiction, first and foremost, and it is my aim to breathe life into my characters, not merely to recount the facts of the past.
I do hope you and your friends will love Electra's story!

Hello Lucinda,
I just finished The Moon Sister. It was my first book of yours that I have read, a gift from my sister-in-law. It was wonderful!!
I plan to read The Sun Sister and then begin with Book 1 and read books 1-5. My question is..... Do you reveal what was behind the door in the basement of Tiggy’s house in Atlantis in Book 7? Hope so!! Thank you!
