Goodreads asked Adam L. Feldman:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Adam L. Feldman The best advice I can give an aspiring writer is pretty cliché, but very, very true. Here it is: "Just write."

For years I desired to write a book. I entertained the prospect of "being" a writer and completing a book, etc. Then, one day in 2012, I "owned" what I had always known: the book will not write itself.

Writing "Journaling" was a process of just sitting down every day and pounding out a paragraph, or a couple of pages, or an entire chapter. Revisions were brutal, but necessary. I read the book at least a dozen times while revising it.

Writing is a lot of hard work, but totally worth it! So, what are you waiting for? Forget about yesterday and start writing today! You can do it.
