What are you currently working on?

Dixie Dawn Miller Goode I tend to write the way I read, more than one book going at once. Slowly I have been making progress on three books. The furthest along is the third book in the Tales of Uhrlin. I have tentatively titled it "Duffy Barkley: the Third Charm" and in this book my young hero is again worried about his younger sister, and also his Aunt when both females vanish from Aunt Peg's farm. I am also working on another book about the writing desk that allows people in similar situations in different times, to communicate by sometimes finding the other person's journal's and possessions inside the desk. This second novel features two 15 year old boys in the looming shadow of active volcanoes to communicate over almost two millennia. The third book would be my thee children's picture book, featuring paintings and photographs and information about redwood trees.
