Did Evan survive? I know that Nicole says "Let's go see Daddy. He's waiting for us". However, she also refers to getting married as "holding that kind of event makes no sense now, and they'd never be able to mark an anniversary anyway".

She did have a dream where Evan was dead. But his father also had a dream that he and Evan were standing near a fire. I think the anniversary part was because they all lost the amount of time after their modern world ended. Also, I think the marriage reference was because so many people died and many people left the community after Scott was killed, it made no sense to have the ceremony. I think he did survive.(less)
