Maureen I think that was part of the point - that the pivotal men in the story, men with power, should have been men that women could trust to respect them an…moreI think that was part of the point - that the pivotal men in the story, men with power, should have been men that women could trust to respect them and treat them well, and they didn't. The stuff of today's headlines, unfortunately. The teenage son bravely stood up for his mother, and the other men in the law firm, though minor characters, were portrayed as ordinary helpful people.(less)
