Writing is a beautiful talent and if you possess it, craft it carefully. Instead of following the popular ideas and genres, go with what you are best at. My first book Life's Like That was a fiction novel but later I realized that poetry is something that's my strength. I still would love to write scripts and stories, but when free, I would write lyrics and poems. Do what you are best at and then the rest will follow.
