I am on page 160 and can someone please tell me whether or not this book is worth reading? I really enjoyed Outlander and I had very high hopes for this book, however, chapter after tedious chapter of Claire and Jamie and their boring day to day existence in Paris is not very encouraging?

My opinion so far is that this book is probably 400-500 pages too long. The good news is that they are about to leave Paris and I hope the story will get better after Paris. I did something horrible that I have to do from time to time when I get stuck in a section of a book; I read the last few chapters (knowing that there are many books left so I'm not really spoiling the story). There's enough going on there to make me want to read everything in-between and find out how the story got there.(less)
