I've just re-enjoyed Holy Sister and regretfully concluded the only practical way it could be done on screen is via a cartoon because of Nona 's age change. Which of your series do you think is the most filmable? Which would you most want filmed?

Mark Lawrence I think the Impossible Times trilogy would be easiest to film as it has a real world setting and would be relatively easy to make a few London streets look more 80s.

I would only want to see any of them filmed if I somehow knew that they would do a brilliant job. There are plenty of scenes in both the Broken Empire trilogy and the Red Queen's War trilogy that I would love to see done well. Of course the fear is that it would be done badly.

Was I right to detect a "brotherly'' quip at a fellow writer in the footnote of Choices ? Something about the temperature of revenge ?
