Am I the only one who felt the ending was a bit of a cheat? I loved the book, especially because it wasn't a Grisham legal thriller. Loved the stuff about writers and booksellers. But when Cable shows Mercer the stolen books she doesn't act in any way that should "spook" him into immediately moving the books from the vault. The Feds show up the next day and the books are gone.
