Hi, Lucy. I wish I had a definite date for you, but they are still deciding that. I do know it will be coming out later than we all expected--most likely in early 2020 instead of late this year. As soon as I have more information, I will share it with you all.

Dear Sharon, I too am an enthusiastic fan of your books and have recommended them countless times. I see that Outremer is due for publication in October but will there be a paper edition (Amazon are only showing a Kindle version)? I do hope so as I like to keep your books and re-read them. Marie

I have another question. Have you been approached with any offers to adapt your books into a film or TV series? With the current popularity of Game of Thrones, and the interest in Richard III after the discovery of his remains, I'd expect producers to be eager to buy the rights to one of your novels, especially Sunne. If this were to happen, which actors do you see playing the roles? And would you work on the script?

I love "The Sunne in Splendour". If you wrote it today, would you incorporate some of the new info that has surfaced in the last 30 years; e.g. would the negotiations for the double marriage of Richard to Joana of Portugal and his niece (presumably Bess) to Manuel of Beja affect your portrayal of the relationship between Bess and Richard; and how would the marriage to Ralph Scrope fit in the story of Cecily of York?
