How do you get inspired to write?

R.L. Brown When one has the desire to write, then inspiration to create a story can come from anywhere. So for me, something as simple as hearing an interesting conversation from a couple at a coffee shop, can lead me to imagine a back story for those individuals and to further wonder what they will say after I have gone. I have gotten into the habit of making little notes to myself about things I have witnessed that would make a great story; now all I have to do is find the time to write.
