I made the decision to become a writer when I was quite young, but I didn’t actually begin writing in earnest, until I was in college; but the idea of becoming a writer was definitely in the back of my mind. While I didn’t start writing officially until I was a freshman in college, my love affair with reading, and with books themselves, was already in full effect. I’m quite sure that my appreciation for literature as a child, helped to fuel the writing goals that were always on the back burner. Over the years since college and graduate school, I have made continual efforts to make writing a priority in my life.
