Did anyone else have a difficult time reading this book because of so many "typos?" Editor should of proofed the wording better before printing. As for the storyline...book was very good.

However, I cringe at how naive Aleena is despite the atrocities raging outside her family's door, and think "was I that stupid as a teenager?" No. Then I cringe when the story switches to Alice, who has let her life be ruined by the care of her disabled son. Weak women characters (except Aleena's mother) and stronger male characters makes me wonder if a man wrote this. Not finished with the book, so I'm sure both characters will wise up.(less)
