I'm only about 50 pages in and so far it's not really doing a whole lot for me but I see such incredible reviews. Does the book get better as it goes or am I just missing the point if it doesn't grip me straight from the get-go?

Once the pieces fell into place, I wanted to stop reading just to save the characters' lives. Right up there with A Little Life for me.(less)
