I'm only about 50 pages in and so far it's not really doing a whole lot for me but I see such incredible reviews. Does the book get better as it goes or am I just missing the point if it doesn't grip me straight from the get-go?

Lots of details unfold as the book progresses, right up until nearly the very end. I absolutely loved it! (less)
