I'm only about 50 pages in and so far it's not really doing a whole lot for me but I see such incredible reviews. Does the book get better as it goes or am I just missing the point if it doesn't grip me straight from the get-go?

But I've been trying to read all the reviews, good or bad, and some of the readers have said that it took them a while to get into it, especially because there are so many characters to get to know, but that the second half and the ending are what made them love it. I hope this is helpful, and I hope that readers will chime in!(less)
