I've gone back and read this part a few times and I'm just confused. At the very beginning of part 2, Jules says he calls his wife from the hospital after his motorcycle accident, but she is in Europe on an important trip. He even talks about their conversation. <spoiler> But, as we find out later, she is dead at this point. What is going on? Is this just in his imagination? </spoiler>
