Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

J. Michaels I got the idea for my novel based on personal experiences, social media posts negating survivors of sexual assault, and the will to bring awareness to rape culture in America and around the world. My goal for the series is to help at least one person. The book does include great information on how to safeguard yourself (as much as possible) and how to educate others through fiction. I have to warn you; the first book does not have all of the unicorns and rainbows fluff. Real life isn't perfect, and sometimes we have to fight for what's right.
