Luckily, I haven't experienced it yet within the series, but I always stop before I run out of things to say for the night. It keeps the drive alive, my mind isn't exhausted, and when I come back the next day, I'm fresh and ready to conquer.

The series came to me in a dream. It replayed over and over for months before I put pen to paper. But some content is based on experience so I guess in a sense the answer should be...life.

I got the idea for my novel based on personal experiences, social media posts negating survivors of sexual assault, and the will to bring awareness to rape culture in America and around the world. My goal for the series is to help at least one person. The book does include great information on how to safeguard yourself (as much as possible) and how to educate others through fiction. I have to warn you; the first book does not have all of the unicorns and rainbows fluff. Real life isn't perfect, and sometimes we have to fight for what's right.
