We discussed the themes of the novel. It varies from person to person whether you think you're ready to read it or not. Of course, I read the synopsis before delving into Lolita. I decided I would read it, so I did.
My parents were absolutely against me reading it, though. And the librarian at my school refused to loan me a copy so I had to go buy my own.(less)
