How do you deal with writer’s block?

R.E. Schicchi To just sit down and write. Just plant yourself in the seat and write freestyle if you have to. Many times I will just write a base outline for a scene then jump to another scene and work on that. My process is fluid. I have a television background so jumping from one scene to another is comfortable for me.

Also another good tip is to do what screenwriter's do. Map out your scenes on note cards.
