Has anybody read this yet?

Meredith Yes, it is a brilliant and inspirational call to action for equality in our homes, the U.S., and around the world. Through stories of her own life and women around the world, Melinda Gates brings into focus issues, that if we solve, can help improve the lives of everyone around the world. It is required reading in my house, and I highly encourage everyone to read it.
Linda Yes, and I think EVERYBODY should read it. Smart woman with smart observations. Does not promote one answer for all. Promotes listening to those who have problems/issues and letting them have a say in how best to handle the problem. For example, passing out condoms signals to police and men in other cultures that the woman is a sex worker, who then gets beat up.

I do NOT see it as similar to "Becoming." That one is all memoir; Gates' book is minimally memoir.
Vesna Marjanović Yes, and it's a great read for anyone interested in improving their own lives and challenging social, racial, and gender injustices.
Teresa Valaer No, and I never will. She says she thinks women should be able to have children whenever they decide to. But if mandatory vaccines are causing infertility, she is dead wrong.
