In your Sookie Stackhouse series, there was such a huge emphasis on the romance between Sookie and Eric. The TV series glazes over that really prominent piece. Do you wish they would have allowed for Eric and Sookie to develop more?

The TV show was quite different from the books in many ways, and I don't try to second-guess what the writers chose to do. I loved the show, because I got a lot of readers from it . . . and it was really good television.

Hi! Just started reading Midnight Crossroad, and so far I love it. (No surprise there!) I saw a preview for the TV pilot, and it looks sooo good. I was wondering if you had any idea if it's going to be picked up for an entire season..? I wasn't sure when the companies announce their line up from pilot season. I still watch True Blood all the time, but I would love to see another one of your creations come to life.
