I loved the book, but I hated the fact that Tate and Kya didn't have any children. I realize that real life doesn't always wrap up in a neat bow, and people can have a complete and full life without kids, but it just felt so incredibly sad to end that way. Is there a reason you think the author wrote it like this? Because I can't come up with a good reason!

Because life isnt always what we plan for and Kyas life never really was. Plus, as you said, life can be fulfilling without children. And it wasnt the sort of book that needed perfectly happy endings. (less)
