I dont have much use for those who talk about writing but do very little of it. Write.
Don't let the perfect get in the way of the good. Forget what writer's groups might say about your work. Find your own voice and you do that by writing.
Read. Read a lot. Read everything so that you know what is good. Don't imitate what you read but write what you like to read. Keep it authentic and tight and share it with the world. Then write some more.
