What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Lynn Kellan I'd been working on a manuscript for ten years, but the quality, speed, and success of my writing improved astronomically when I joined a local Romance Writers of America chapter. Another great piece of advice I received was when my agent recommended I join a critique group. Luckily, I found three fellow romance writers who meet 3 miles away from my house! An incredible stroke of luck. We submit up to 10,000 words to the critique group every month and give each other feedback. Sometimes, it can be painful when your critique partners don't like what you've written, but I've found that my group is nearly always right. I have no idea where I'd be without them.
