My children have always liked me making up stories for them. I was telling my little girl bible stories when she said: "Daddy, can you put me in the story." So I tried telling the story of Jesus and Him blessings the little children - and her as one of them. Then I added some dialogue and thought - well, I'm interested in first century culture. I think I could make a good go of this. So I have started writing a children's book about a girl who regularly comes into contact with Jesus.
It was the same for my books : The Granny JJ Adventures - they started as (badly made up) bedtime stories!

Hi, Joshua, In regards to Jesus and Me. I cannot find it anywhere but Goodreads and Amazon and as I said previously, I am unable to review on Amazon. I looked on B&Noble, BAM, BookBub, Chapters.indigo, Kobo, NetGalley, Thriftbooks, Powells, Target, Walmart and did not find it anywhere. Found several of your other books.
