Will "Jaydai quest" be mentioned again after 1.5? I'm on book three and it hasn't been mentioned, nor have I been able to find any questions online, so, me being the super curious person I am, was wondering if this was the only time it will be mentioned or if it will be explained later.

Hi Hannah! Actually when Ziva mentions that Valek is on a "Jaydai quest" she is referring to Valek's mission to stop Tam from assassinating Yelena. The Sandseeds value family above all others and when one of them is in trouble or is in danger they go on a "Jaydai quest" to help/save them. Yelena is related to the Sandseeds and Valek proved to be a capable warrior, so they allowed him to live and continue his mission. I hope this helps!
I know a number of my readers want to read about Valek helping Ziva recover her child - I might write another short story about that at some point, when I have the time. Uh....have you seen my extra time? I seem to have misplaced it ;)

Hey Maria, I was just wondering why the study series is often classified as Young Adult? Yelena was 19 (I believe?) in Poison Study, isn't that a bit older than the average YA heroine? In saying that, regardless of what the series is classified as.. it is absolutely brilliant! Keep up the good work!!

Hi Maria, I absolutely love your books. If you've time, I have a quick question. I'm an aspiring fantasy/sci-fi writer. I've written a few unpolished novellas/novels and I'm returning to writing after a few years. I'm just wondering if you'd recommend starting back writing with short stories or novels? My goal is to hopefully become a novel writer but I want to master the craft of writing. Any advice would be great!
