Will "Jaydai quest" be mentioned again after 1.5? I'm on book three and it hasn't been mentioned, nor have I been able to find any questions online, so, me being the super curious person I am, was wondering if this was the only time it will be mentioned or if it will be explained later.

Maria V. Snyder Hi Hannah! Actually when Ziva mentions that Valek is on a "Jaydai quest" she is referring to Valek's mission to stop Tam from assassinating Yelena. The Sandseeds value family above all others and when one of them is in trouble or is in danger they go on a "Jaydai quest" to help/save them. Yelena is related to the Sandseeds and Valek proved to be a capable warrior, so they allowed him to live and continue his mission. I hope this helps!

I know a number of my readers want to read about Valek helping Ziva recover her child - I might write another short story about that at some point, when I have the time. Uh....have you seen my extra time? I seem to have misplaced it ;)

Hi Maria, I've just finished Dawn Study, and just wanted to say how much I love all your books, especially the Study/Glass/Soulfinders trilogies. I was wondering if you've ever thought of writing adult fantasy, since in the Soulfinders trilogy all of the POVs were adults. Have you ever felt held back by fitting your books to a YA audience since many of them feature mature themes?

I absolutely loved the Chronicles of Ixia, the series was absolutely a-maz-ing! But since Dawn Study was the last book in that series and it ended with Liana just being born, do you plan on writing something with their daughter in the future?
