As someone who grew up right outside Durham & spent a lot of time on Ninth Street, The Fever King has been a blast to read for that reason alone. (Though it's great for many other reasons too, obv!) Is the bookstore Noam grew up in supposed to be the Regulator? :)

It was definitely heavily inspired by the Regulator! I loved that store so much growing up. I went to school down the street for high school and used to hang out there after classes let out.

It was so good so thank you for blessing us with this book. How did figure out the plot of the story and what kind of personality you wanted Noam to be? Hi Victoria! I'm currently about a fourth of the way into The Electric Heir and am already an anxious mess - it's hitting so hard and in the best way possible. I'm curious about the preorder campaign you mentioned a few months ago on your website. I preordered the book and submitted a copy of my order, and I was just wondering how receiving the story of choice will work?
