What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Kenneth Price The best thing about being a writer is the places it takes me, and the worlds I create. As I write, the characters in my stories come alive in ways I had not expected, they go and do things I had never imagined. At times I might add in a new character thinking that he or she is just a passing moment, and then that character becomes a significant figure. If you have read “Earth Magic,” Kayno is like that. I had no idea how important he was to become. I rarely know where my story is going until I get to the end. I love the mystery, and I love finding where my mind will take me. Writing is an adventure. It is pure joy.
