Goodreads asked Robin Edwards:

How do you get inspired to write?

Robin Edwards I'll be honest, some days it's tough because there will be a day where I don't feel like writing but it's what I do for a living so I kind of have to but I try not to think of it that way.

What usually inspires me can be anything from a photograph I see somewhere, a quote I come across, some lyrics, a movie or even a conversation I've had. Inspiration comes from everywhere.

When I was younger I used to write fan fiction all of the time because I would think to myself (after watching a movie or television show) about how I would have changed the story line OR I'll think to myself about how would that tv show or movie change if they threw in 'this' kind of character.

Then I'd get excited by the idea and start to write. That's what happens to me when an idea hits.
