I really did enjoy this, except for the one question that I am hung up on and am wondering if I just missed something about it (I listened to the audio version). How did Kya manage to meet up with Chase at the tower at that exact time and date? There was no courtroom theory mentioned of this detail. The window of time was so short that I think it would have had to be planned ahead with Chase’s agreement?

I think Kya did it one because she was mimicking what she saw in nature and two because of what happened between her parents. Chase likely was thinking about how he would enjoy punishing her sexually so he eagerly agreed to meet. The disguises for the bus ride are a bit of a stretch. Given Kya's ability to hide, I think she could've been undetected without them.(less)
